Final order deadline for
potatoes and sets:
late spring, when we run out of stock
Ginger and turmeric will be shipped starting in late February. Onion plants and sweet potato slips are drop-shipped directly from our growers according to your planting zone/region unless you indicate otherwise at checkout. Otherwise, we begin shipping Potatoes, Onions and Exotics orders in late March, finishing by early May. We cannot ship before that; we regret that we cannot honor any requests to do so.
red skin, pale red fleshThe earliest potato in our trialing field, a rare trait among fingerlings. Slice one in half at farmers’ market to show customers the unique flesh: cream streaked with a light red pigment. Dig early for that classic petite fingerling, or wait for skins to set to secure some lunkers.
If you’re a backyard breeder or an aspiring one, you’ll love the potential offered by this beautifully flowering and seed-producing variety. Its earliness likely contributes to its ability to stand up to early blight. Moderate scab resistance. ②
For orders placed by February 21, 2025, this item will ship on our regular shipping schedule, starting in late March with the warmest states and finishing by early May. Orders placed after February 21, 2025 will be shipped later, and in the order in which they were received. We cannot ship this item any earlier; we regret that we cannot honor any requests to do so.
