Semi-double 4" crimson blooms have the velvety trait of gallica parent Tuscany Superba, itself the progeny of the beloved and much sought-after Tuscany rose. Fragrant! Blooms once a summer. Very hardy and vigorous shrub form. Will send up shoots and become dense in time. Great as a hedge rose.
