A magnificent and very rare variety with an apricot-white bloom, a beautiful shape and masses of red persistent ⅜" fruit for the birds. Although the tree is not very tall, it is quite wide with branches broadly arching to the ground and then sweeping upward. Be sure to give it plenty of space. The red buds retain their color while the strongly fragrant single white blossoms open revealing the bright yellow stamens that add an apricot hue to the entire tree in bloom, a mass of flowers with no foliage visible at all.

Named in honor of CS Sargent’s daughter. Considered by many to be Sax’s best introduction. Good disease resistance. Z4. Maine Grown. (Standard: 3–6' bare-root trees)
